North Down Coastal Path Walk - Northern Ireland
Start the New Year with a beautiful coastal walk, raising money for a fantastic cause! Our Winter Walk for Paws along the stunning North Down Coastal Path will raise vital funds for animals in need. Bangor Marina to Holywood (North Down Coastal Path), approximately 9.5 miles 3.5 to 4 hours of walking (plus a rest break) The walk is limited to 20 participants to ensure a safe, cohesive group. Dog are welcome, but we are restricting the walk to a maximum of 10 dogs. Dogs must be kept under control and be comfortable walking in a group environment with other dogs.
Your Itinerary
Coastal Hike
To make the most of the winter daylight, we will set off promptly. Meeting at 9:15 at Dufferin Square Park and Ride, Bangor. Departure will be at 9:30 with an ETA in Holywood of around 14:00.
We will take a dedicated toilet and refreshment break at the Woodlands Cafe at Crawfordsburn Country Park. This is roughly the 3.5-mile mark. The cafe will be open for hot drinks, but please bring your own water and plenty of snacks/lunch.
Once we reach our finish line in Holywood, we will walk over to the Holywood Train Station and take a short train ride back to Bangor.
